I think these kind of people like to see the uke having a spine, but the moment they find the redemption arc drags on for too long (even if it's so deserve for ML), they would complain.

I have one novel where the ML literally neglect MC and belittle him, even putting someone else on priority for years. But the moment the MC rejected him again and again, some of the comments complaint. For context, the MC accidentally faked his death, and years later met the ML in different identity.

Actually in this manhwa the correct term to what happened is "Sexual abuse / extortion " not Rape . I was using the word rape same as you yesterday . Crimes like rape and SA are sensitive topics , so I went on to learn more about it and learned here in this manhwa rape isn't the correct term. Yes that's the exact issue. There are more BL manhwas were Rape actually happens. That's why we are too used this term. However in my experience I have met more ppl who use term Rape though .
