I think we pretty much already know ML’s backstory, its not even heartbreaking just the usual broken family but ML chose to be jerk dickhead and excuse it “sobs sniffs uhuhu i have broken family be sorry for me!” This ML is hard to sympathize unlike the author’s previous work because the ML from that previous work got betrayed lots of times hence explains his behavior.
But this ML, maybe this ML’s backstory is sad but unfortunately his current actions does not excuse it. He’s hurting FL when FL hasn’t done anything bad to him at all? His redemption arc better be 40 chapters and I hope author does not make FL fold so easily for him because I hate it so much when author always make female characters blush so easily wjen ‘sexy’ ‘hot’ comes onto the screen towards the peopel they should hate, it just ruins the pacing of the story and gives us the impression that FL is saying “maybe he isnt that bad after all” or “he really did changed”
From now on every update I'll come here to dunk on ML and hope misfortune for him, Idc whatever sob backstory he have or whatever reasoning the author will give him, This time I hope he relive his trauma get a mental breakdown then trip over the stairs and break his long ass neck.
