place to be genuinely ruined me.

mc's yearning for ml is so painfully raw that it loops back around to being *too* relatable. and what makes it worse is that neither of them is dramatic about it. they're just... quietly carrying years of feelings that were never confessed, never acknowledged, never given the chance to exist.

they are literally the definition of unrequited love. like how the fuck are you supposed to move on from a love that happened years ago when it was never even heard in the first place???

"a lifetime" by ben&ben is actually their national anthem because what the fuck.

"how do you grieve a love that never existed?" was the question i kept asking myself the entire time.

and don't even get me started on their povs. both mc and ml felt like side characters watching someone else's love story unfold, convinced they were never meant to be chosen. it's so cruel because they're both standing on the outside, loving in silence, believing they'll never be enough for the other.

anyway, i'm at peace in knowing that after all those years of longing, missed chances, and loving each other in silence, they found each other. they became each other's home it made me cry to sleep.

ts is such a slowburn that i'm just gonna let the manhwa pile up first so i can binge the emotional damage in one sitting sighs*

ngl i never expected i'd end up loving it as much as i love heavy rain and rut partner... but here we are.

at this point i have to ask... does willingly waiting for more chapters just so i can suffer harder make me a masochist

    Thanks for the review
But I have to say, I have a hard time believing that you can love someone after ignoring them for years. Cause that’s what ml did. He was so consumed with his own feelings that he did not pay attention to anyone else, especially mc.

I haven’t read the novel. Does it make more sense there that mc and ml end up together?
Because as of right now, it seems like mc will always be just the second choice and that is just sad.
