Totally agree, and I’m going to add on that I think she did genuinely have feelings for her baby in that one flashback, but that’s it. Plenty of people want a “baby” but not a child who is going to grow up into an adult. She doesn’t seem like the kind of person who can put another’s needs before her own; as soon as her son stopped being convenient she would have hated being a mother.
She's showing "signs" that she cares about her son but in my opinion that's just her guilt & insecurity talking. She doesn't even give child support constantly, not even a little amount or effort to try nor is she curious about his life. She doesn't love the child, I think those "signs" stem from her insecurity towards how more righteous and competent her sister is than her (both in life and motherhood). She did confess that she never liked the way of sleeping around rich/influential men, after all
