It's quite complicated, but he leaves for Heejae's sake. Compton asked Garam to do a concerto with him (in truth, he wanted to separate Garam from Kim, as he did to all the other students; just know for now, he is the one who hates Kim the most, even though he doesn't look like it). Eventually, Heejae let go of Garam for the sake of his music, and after his past fear and the presence of his manager vanished, they reconciled. he gave a surprise visit to Garam in London, and Kim accepted the difference in the colour of their sound and souls. He wasn't letting go of Garam either way. its just- jeffery- uhm, let's not spoil much- but Jeffery and his orchestra team are not very normal.
... (I am bad at giving spoilers, sorry)
they dont- uhm do anything to Garam, actually. The concerto will be on Rachmaninoff No.3, op30, which is actually a very hard piece, and heejae is well known for this piece, His sound is very intense and overwhelms the audience like a raging storm. Still, garam's sound is different, like a soft, delicate lotus- so heejae's teaching method doesnt work for garam- he wanted to play this piece using his own sound- he wanted to move the audience's heart. so he moves to London with jeffery ( the reason i said it was for heejae's sake, was bcz as you all saw in this chapter, heejae uses his power to make garam stand out, which Garam didn't want- well, heejae didnt listen to garam, and in garam's next concert- heejae invited 5 of his closest sponsers, writer- and critic and made them sit with general crowd, in the after party, they all met with garam, making it seem as if they came on their own will, well- jeffery snitched it to garam- and garam fought with heejae, saying that if he really wanted to be a gem as heejae wanted, he needed to leave, for heejae's sake.) as for the orchestra, they are like a shepard and flock- for them, every thing jeffery says is true and right- its more of a cult imo, lol. Well, i think i spoiled a lot, so thats it.

i smell angst coming, again, istg, can we NOT MY HEART CAN'T HABDLE THIS
