Ml’s family has a curse I don’t remember everything so I might be wrong at times cause I’ve read the novel months ago. The curse practically makes ml and fl bound to each other and the bitch priestess says that if he stays close to her he’ll lose control of his powers that’ll lead him to kill fl, and the only way to break the curse is to make fl hate him (obv this is a lie only for the bitch so that she can get close to ml cause she’s jealous of fl being married to him). Then there’s some lore about the real villain of the story blah blah blah and pretty much ml gets his memories back of his past life so we get everything that had happened in his pov and we find out that he did it all cause he believed the priestess, he didn’t actually kiss her or anything when she hugged him and he only went with it when he saw the door kinda open and fl there watching them and thought the priestess did it just to make fl hate him even more. When fl is attacked and dies, ml finds out and he goes running to the room where he finds her dead and there he slaughters all the workers and even his aide, only leaving his son alive and there he sees what he has done and prays to go back in time even if it meant for him to lose memories of what happened and shi and so it did. After that ml kills the priestess cause he also sees her talking shit to his wife, and after all the battle is done there’s an arc where fl and ml are separated cause she doesn’t want to see him and shi but obv he does so he goes to her many times and shes also pregnant. Then they get back together and decide to stay together pretty much. When their son is born he remembers somehow that he hates his father and whenever ml tried to carry him or even see him the kid would cry so during the side stories ml is becoming a better father and husband
