ngl i used to wonder what even made uyun fall for jinhyeong and why he stayed when all this man did was show his absolute unhinged side but then uyun talked about the things jinhyeong did for him and it clicked so hard. bro literally learned how to cook just for uyun and even helped him with his studies when he barely get any time being a TA those things sound so small when you say them out loud, and i probably would’ve overlooked them as a reader too, but to uyun they were everything. that’s what makes this manhwa so insane to me. love isn’t always some dramatic movie moment of crossing rivers and giving someone the stars it’s the “i learned this for you”, “i paid attention to what you needed”, “i put you first even when i didn’t know how to take care of myself” kind of love. the writing is actually so sick bc it makes you realize the loudest form of love can be hidden in the quietest little actions
