This is from a comment on NU.
Both ml and mc are straight as thry can be, and they both love the female lead. But she commits sucide only a few years after her marriage to the ml. And that is the trigger point of regression. Or maybe if either ml or mc died, it'll trigger regression cause..yk, maybe it's kind of a law of that world. How can that world exist without their main protagonists? Neither of them can die.
Mc is psychotic after multiple regressions and uses some unhinged methods to pursue ml(drugs, manipulation, lies) and ml suffers because of it.
Which brings me to the question. Ml loved the fl, so why tf does she keeps committing suicide everytime?!
Mc tried everything he could to make fl choose someone else even if it's not himself but that bitch(I'm mad at her atp) kept choosing ml everytime. Then she just kills herself. Why?? I'm not going to read this unless i find the answer to this. Fl is the root problem to this. Everyone in this story is miserable except her. Oblivious to everything and naively believes that ml and mc love eachother. It couldn't be any far from the truth. I thought there would be at least a bit of romance when i first found it but i couldn't be any more wrong.

Uh no. It was just my interpretation of their comment. The og comment is this.

    It's not a happy fun story. It's gruesome, it's despairing, it's dramatic
MC is desperatly in love with the heroine. But everytime she ends up with the ML. Now, that doesn't mater to him, since his love is pure and sacrificial. If she was happy, then he would be too. What is awful, is that a few years after her marriage with ML, she commits su*cide everytime. And then the story starts again. She dies because of her marriage with ML. That's why regression after regression, MC tries to separate them, even if it's not for her to end up with him, he even introduces her to other men, but nothing works. She ends up with ML and dies. This renders him mad little by little, breaks his psyche, and makes him loathe ML so bad that he kills him (which only brings another regression)
Seducing ML is his last option to keep them apart, since he has tried everything on the heroine. And, let me remind you, MC is straight and HATES ML. It's not romantic. It's madness. And he doesn't pursue ML in a normal romantic way, he litteraly tries to manipulates ML, drugs him, lies to him, hurts him, goes full psycho trying to get him, even though it's out of hate. And ML suffers all of this and is forced towards MC, even though he is straight too and loves the heroine !
It's really a happy story for no one. Well, maybe the heroine who misunderstands that both are in love, but aside from her, everyone is miserable
