He is not Arel's dad.He is her mom's husband.This man was obsessed with her mom and he made a deal with her father (Arel's grandfather) so he could have her. Sione resented him because she was forced to separate from her brother, he took her away from the only person she loves and keep her going.Arel saw her mother's memory when Ludwig kidnapped her. He regretted his past with Sione and saw her reflection on FL, that's why he kidnapped her. But he was so regretful that he knelt in front of FL and begged for forgiveness. Later in the story after he will live with MC and became her godfather.Because of his obsession, she ran away when she was pregnant with Arel.
Arel's biological father is Esther, he's some kind of immortal. Sionne kind of cheated because she was married with Ludwig then but obviously there was no love. Sionne and esther loved each other but they don't even know how they look like bcz of Esther's immortality. I'm not sure about this part. I didn't read more. He appears really late in the story as much as i remember.
