I read this in the past and I think I didnt finish it so I reread up to chapter 33, skipped to ch 95 because I bookmarked that chapter then I read until 115. Somebody tell me if I understood correctly because I'm sleep deprived af reading this

In ch 114 or 115, Haley as the narrator was saying that when she became Katarina, she still crossed paths with Cedric and they were even in a relationship and she's a prominent character throughout the whole manhwa which annoyed me because I hate when exes are so focused on in a story(¬_¬") but like in this story, she needed to be mentioned because she's like the reason why this life exists?? Is what I said correct or should I go to sleep na
