I'm not joking though. Sarang is not a criminal. She's someone who's got no other choice but fit into a pile of people who are expected to know things she can't understand.
No help navigating herself through the typical societal rules and behaviour, nobody aware, informed or attentive and equipped enough to understand that she doesn't understand. To guide her, to realise her thought process.
Last time the students were slapping each other and there was no responsible figure to intervene. To investigate. If the professors can't even do that, Sarang is way beyond their expertise.
Plus, one professor is already aggravated by his student just because he didn't want to be wrongfully penalised. And his response was "You want to try me?"

I feel like she’d do well in a job with strict rules and clear protocols. Being a police officer involves a lot of humanitarian judgment, and I feel like she might struggle with that in certain situations. But to make use of her creativity and observant thinking (but still being harmless to poeple), idk, maybe she could try stock trading?

I feel like Sarang would do well as a police/detective. She's plenty neutral and will stick to the rules as a Chaotic Neutral but due to her wits, will be good at identifying and catching criminal's line of action.
