I was at episode 4-6 I think when I made that topic. There are so many indications and stolen glances between the two that was so uncomfy for me. That, and the way the old woman was basically handing her to him, like "I would give her to you as long as you keep her safe". "She would make a fine wife".
I just finished S1 right about now.
Its unfortunately anime... I was worried about the same thing. Theres multiple animes where the father figure gets with the daughter figure so its better safe to ask then be sorry
I've noticed these kind of tropes recently becoming more and more of a trend. The "raise your waifu" is honestly disturbing if you think about it.
