i’m gonna be honest, i don’t hate ethan as much as i thought i would. don’t get me wrong, he’s evil and doesn’t really deserve a happy ending but it does make me mad thinking how he’s the only villain when their fucking dad was the one who betrayed and cheated on the ml’s mom and got another woman pregnant. like not only did he cheat and have a child out of wedlock, he brought the kid back as a “backup” because his fucking kid wouldn’t hatch (why? BECAUSE HE FUCKING CHEATED ON HIS WIFE) and then the whole time had the nerve to neglect and abuse his own kid treating him like a fucking peasant while telling him to not treat the ml as his brother. i can understand the mom’s treatment because he’s the child of an affair but i still think it’s immature to treat an innocent child like that. the dad however is on a whole other level. how does he just get to live peacefully? if ethan is going to be treated as the villain, then so should their dad because honestly he’s the cause of all of this. i guarantee if the dad never took ethan back, he probably would’ve had a happier life. i’m not saying ethan is innocent, i’m just mad the dad never got punished even though he’s a shitty person. tbh i think ethan could’ve done worse because if it was me, i would’ve killed everyone especially that fuck ass dad
