i'm so used to yuri being either doomed or toxic that this was genuinely a breath of fresh air. rose and beth are genuinely the cutest characters ever, and, despite their circumstances, they both remain happy with each other till the end. i genuinely felt bad for both of them throughout the story, and the fact that they got a happy ending means so much to me.
