I think the female characters are really likable but the male characters in this lack some depth (in my opinion). I really like the ML but he is a bit boring to me, I think his “tragic” backstory being so minimal exacerbated that. Him and Oze just don’t feel realistic to me while the two female characters have their shoujo quirks but feel like real people somewhat. BUT this is kind of awesome… because I feel usually this is the treatment female characters get in a lot of shonen (zero character depth) so in a way it is refreshing ….?
