Geumryang is immortal and so are his children since he’s a god/ spirit of the mountain (I think he’s a god, I can’t remember.) Taesun is human, he’ll die after he ages and grows old while his children and geumryang will still be alive and physically young. They’ll remember him longer after his death than they lived WITH him while he was alive. It’s the cruel part of mortal x immortal tropes. They’ll never get to be together in the same life forever, only if they keep meeting again in the mortal’s next/future lives (reincarnations in a sense) which is what they were talking about a few chapters ago. Taesun hopes to meet and love him in his next life
Weren't they talking about a way for geumryang to help him live as long as him or am I skitzophrenic..?
