just a thought but to ppl saying garam shuld leave heejae cus he's toxic, i wann offer another perspective. i don think garam's clueless or blinded by love. garam chose this, while knowing all too well wat shit he's getting into. i mean did ppl forget ch 109 where garam said 'he knows too well tht it hurts to be near heejae' but said he'll stay. not to mention prof act doubled down n resisted, begging garam to hate him n stay away. he's not ignoring n instead acknowledging it.

n it's unfair in our eyes n garam doesn deserve this toxicity but the overarching theme of his chara seems to be written as someone who feels fulfilled n happy in bringing comfort to ppl, since it's that tht gives him confidence n a sense of purpose. (like how he got a huge self esteem boost when over wat kruger told him). n ig heejae is like the ultimate test to tht aspect hence y garam was more drawn to heejae's loneliness n suffering.
also b4 there was tht panel where garam n heejae were BOTH holding knives, meaning garam is just as capable of deeply hurting heejae yet chooses not to. If he's so upset and bitter with heejae treating him like shit, garam literally has heejae's weakness in his hands n CAN retaliate just as badly back. But he understands tht tht doesn't really achieve anything n i think this ch really cements tht. as much as we wanna smack the shit outta heejae, garam's being the better person by not doing so n i don think tht's necessarily him not being able to stand up for himself/ being a pushover. tho well, tht's just another perspective, idk the author's true intentions
