Heejae really is such an enigma. I'll burn him at the stake for being a sex pest when he can't confront his own feelings but I can't help enjoying his presence. Telling Garam all those things about how he made him and he'd be nothing without him did not feel intentional to hurt Garam, it felt more like a defense mechanism. Heejae holds himself on a high pedestal yet he's just as insecure and terrified when his emotions tangle up with those insecurities and traps him into a corner.

I don't think he purposely thought of the manager during sex, it's been said in previous chapters how Garam resembles the manager a bit. I think Heejae just gets hit with deja vu when Garam says or does something the manager has said or done in the past.

Also, Heejae says he was going to make it hurt but it felt like he was genuinely gentle? Not sure if it seemed that way because of Garam complying and being into it.

I would genuinely write a thesis paper on these two and the story complexities in general because i have sooo much to say but these are just what my hands (and tired brain) will let me share at the moment.
