I did NOT expect this manhwa to turn the novel into a more comedic route LMAO I was imagin...

I haven't finished it but in the span of 50 chapters currently, there's already a lot that happened lol but I'll try summarize it all. Do note that these are all the events within those 50 chapters so MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

MC goes to a ball, meets the novel's villainess (one who hates Daphne), MC dances with the villainess's dad (aka ML's dad's rival aka Vilhelm) and negotiates with him since the empress's body is in his possession. The body is apparently in tact by a magic spell and he needs a nullification spell to keep it safe.

To free the body, he goes to a black market to buy a nullification book, encounters a slave market (and the novel's 2nd ML named Enoch is there, who is apparently a prince from another empire and was supposed to fall for Daphne too), pretends to be a slave to dismantle the slave market, gets bought accidentally, absolutely goes mad and thrashes the entire market, and shooed Enoch away (so he won't come close to Daphne).

Enoch becomes the 2nd ML for HIM lol and follows him around, MC then remembers needing a Transformation Potion so he goes to a bar, meets up with a guy named Zahir and negotiates. But he apparently needs berries since the potion is incomplete, so MC goes to the north.

There, MC encounters ML (since ML put a tail on him) and ML knocked him out to interrogate him about his "evil plans" and what the berries were for. MC finally said "I loathe you." and almost kills himself because he pushes himself off of the cliff.

Then they meet up again in a cave, and the enemy dynamics really shone here LOL after killing spiders that attacked them, MC knocked ML out, grabbed the berries, and left a bloody message of "See you in the capital" with a heart lol

MC returns to get the Transformation potion, and both him and Enoch work together to get the body (via MC transforming into the emperor to distract Vilhelm), but Vilhelm seems to have given up and made it easier for them to get the body.

MC readies his gift aka the empress's body for ML's dad's birthday and he presents the coffin to him. Then ML finally arrives at the party with a whole ass dragon as a gift and glared straight at MC for leaving him at the cave lol

And here's where I'm waiting for the next chapters (since they're locked). Hope I summarized everything! There are some moments I missed, like Enoch trying to give up his body to MC, Daphne pouring wine over MC to set him up with ML, etc. so hopefully the manhwa does the novel justice
