it seems I abandoned this when yooan got really furious when they hid their secrets from him bc I thought why he was so mad when it was "their" secret and he was an outsider at their mercy. i still think that part is a bit overboard
buut it turned out right the next chapter he talked to them and they made up and a lot of stuff happened. i read it in one day.
now i know this is a masterpiece, why I didn't have patience back then????
i originally shipped them but now i feel they are too pure to be shipped, they're family your honors. i still shipped yooan and haphas/Lilith in another universe, i mean what's up with yooan giving him preferential treatment, well lilith is a beauty and haphas has gentle nature that feel comforting compared to the rest of demon so I understand tho. even if yooan went around with new friends, author made haphas an important plot device for yooan's growth. it feel as if lilith/haphas is the female lead, especially with that end with astaroth showing part of himself to haphas and haphas's monologue being the one who closing the story.
aside that, i think the plot is really good, it is not stretched out, just right, everyone play a good roles even if you don't feel attached to everyone but everyone are written with purpose. the secrets are quite shocking, even if i were to take my time to think about it instead rushing, i still wouldn't be able to guess it correctly bc the hints are hidden in plain sight. the hints are obviously there but i cant be sure bc they kept saying yooan's soul was a human and how different their personality are awww but in the end everyone got their closure bc yooan acknowledging them. it's so heart warming. i wish there are side stories where they just chilling... or when yooan returned to demon world for vacation. i may just write a fanfic myself when i feel diligent ╥﹏╥
