The one sabotaging Soun is weirdly comforting to me. Soun grew up orphaned and alone, and when he finally reunited with the brother he had always longed for, all that brother did was use him. But now there’s a strong possibility that Dang Irak never truly existed beyond the physical body. If that’s the case, then the cruel things done to Soun weren’t actually his brother’s choices. His father on the other hand is absolute trash. He has no excuse whatsoever.
