Honestly, this is just my speculation but I think that white hair guy (Cedric/Troy) is related to the queen. They both got white hair. So maybe he might be her son but from a different dad. Yk how they said the queen disappeared for a while, so maybe during that time she was pregnant with him.
But what I also really don’t get is why he helped her once at a ball or banquet and now he’s trying to hurt her in some ways?

im also on board with the "hes related to the empress" theory tbh i just think he wants to ruin the prince in any way so the most devastating way would be to go after his loved one
