Not giving full marks but I do like the art.

The smexy scenes especially. Though sometimes the Seme looks too young for his age and his face is too small for his head, which made him have a big jaw/chin so it's weird, but eh.

Finished it for the sake of the art. And also for curiosity's sake. Honestly, I hated the Seme. Although I already knew from the start that he meant well, he didn't have to be such an ass about it.

Scared the Uke into marrying him by using their son as leverage, kept talking down on him and himself too (called them both filthy animals as an alpha and omega), and then coerced him into sleeping with him because he knew the Uke wouldn't reject him. Forced his pheromones on the Uke, made him quit his job, made him live with him. Ultimately it was to protect him from his psycho dad but he never told the Uke about it.

Never explained the reason why he's back (Seme's been in love with him years back but never said anything) even up to the building of the climax, the Uke had to force the Seme to admit that he was in love with him. Never confessed it properly. Just blamed it on "we were never gonna work out because you're a beta" when in the first place, he WANTED him because he's a beta. What a hypocrite.

Anyway, I hated how much secretive he was when it comes to sensitive things and about himself. It was always the Uke who takes the initiative to close the gap but the Seme would always push him away. Never surprised me that the Uke would eventually lose his trust in him and lose hope of ever having a relationship with each other because the idiot couldn't communicate anything at all.
And look at what it lead to. Uke had get manipulated by the psycho dad to go through with the surgery to take their bond off.

I also didn't like how they just never considered the second male lead at all. He saved the Uke when the Seme wasn't there and supported him when he lost his mark. That was the last time they featured him in the story. Completely forgotten and never given the closure he needed to move on from the Uke.

Anyways, the story's too dramatic and there wasn't much parenting involved. It's one of the main highlights of an omegaverse. It's basically a requirement at this point but this story lacked it a lot.

I'll probably be back but not for the romance itself, just the angst. It tingled my heart a little.
