As a novel reader, this chapter felt like it's missing out on quite a bit, so here's some novel details for clarification:
1. "Wanna become an employee?" When Soleum said he didn't want to become a part of the ghost story, and showed the wristband. The admission ticket was tearing from the vibrations. A torn ticket means he'd no longer be considered a "guest" but an "uninvited visitor" and thus would get "punished".
2. When Jaheon contacted Soleum, he thought it was a hallucination. In the novel, the interaction was only between D squad! And also, he was much more panicked in the novel:
~~ All of Team D was together. How did this happen? "Weren't you three on different colored teams?" I remembered clearly. 'Only Leader Lee Jaheon was on the Blue Team, the rest were on the Yellow Team!' – Roe, that's not what's important right now... "It is important! Did all three of you wake up in the same spot in the theme park despite being on different teams?" ~~
3. Additionally, in the novel, how Soleum managed to deduce the location was much clearer. "Waves" was not part of the conversation, but instead he asked for NS/EW:
~~ "You don't need to know the specific coordinates. Just tell me any nearby attractions! Even north, south, east, or west is fine." – I see. After a brief silence. – It's the west... ~~
As the train ended in the western edge, there was nothing further beyond the walls of Fantasyland in "the west". Which is why the panels after brought up NS/EW after bringing up "wave attractions", which makes no sense for deducing the location ;;
4. They cut off Jin Nasol's (butterfly mask) line that felt like cutting off showing a part of her personality, after she brought up the idea of different boards, and Soleum insisted it's on the same board: "You can babble all the plausible nonsense you want, but if it doesn't fit reality, you have to discard it."
5. The researcher's clothes melting is an original scene lol
