I absolutely loved and adored how they overcame everything and how far they came but...is it bad that I wanted Ash to suffer just a bit more before Lyle agreed to be with him? I mean, maybe because the majority of the story was from Lyle's perspective, but I never felt desperation or as much regret from Ash. He won over Lyle too easily every time and things were brushed off a lot because Lyle was willing to accept everything out of his love for Ash. The one time Ash put any sort of effort was after their sex partner relationship ended and his friend encouraged him, that too after an entire month. I love them now, but seriously Ash, you scored absolute gold.
