So so

This was an interesting read. I wasn’t bored while reading it. The art did go down in quality after the time skip though. And it did get rushed toward the end.
Maybe the novel has more details.

I wonder if it was cut short. Because there was a lot of things I felt didn’t have much backstory or point. Like Royan, the brother suddenly hating the princess. He liked her and thought of her as his savior and he didn’t seem to hate her as a kid even up to the point he left. He also didn’t seem to hate her when he was talking to his father about the plan. His mood only seemed to switch when he reunited with her, and suddenly he showed that he was disgusted with her. It feels like we should’ve seen a scene where he found out all about how the princess truly was and how she was the one telling the emperor to do bad things to his family- but we didn’t get any of that scene so it feels like there’s a gap there.

Then there’s the thing with the magical aspect. We were introduced to the head of the mages and he was made to create an antidote but all of that was handled off screen. Same with the dress maker. All we got was “it was handled well” line, when I feel like it should’ve been bigger than that. Or how the FL was liked by the spirits and shown a dragon egg. The dragon was shown like 3 times and literally had no use. It just said the dragon slept all the time. Idk after the time skip, the story became super rushed and felt like they may have cut out a lot.

I wonder if there are side stories. I’ll check about the novel.
