Firstly my dear male lead was self sabotaging the relationship for a while there because why are you locking her up, and being all toxic? You know if she wanted to leave you literally cannot stop her so maybe change the approach? I can't hate him though. He shuts down misunderstandings in 0.01 seconds, he shows his affection, he respects her so I can't really hate him.

Reminds me of a friend of mine, each time she meets a new guy she gets all these expectations and daydreams and comes crying when the guy doesn't fit the image of the guy she had in her head. Same here, it's unfair she did this to him honestly.
Was it too much that he also killed the servants? Yes. But let my girl be real, just because the only problem in her territory is monsters, actually it's because of the monsters that she hasn't seen how cruel human beings can be, let's think about the living conditions of what the commoners in the corrupt retainers territory is like, it's hypocritical for a duchess to not think of all these things, if they treat their superior like this how does she think those under them are being treated? Bffr. I hate this type of morality in characters the most, like batman refusing to kill the joker, while the joker keeps piling up his bodies. I mean she's probably not like that....she is...I'm sure it'll be a whole redemption arc for the ML to be more 'kind', I never want my FLs to suffer but I think she low key needs to wake up and not think all people are like people from her territory.
That aside I love her, she's flawed but ain't we all.
