Nooo I totally get you, you can really see what standards the people around Andy hold him to and it really stings. But honestly, he deserves us readers' credit and faith, bc he's someone who acknowledges his weaknesses and has the mindset of improvement. He knows he lacks behind his peers yet he isn't resentful at all, that's what makes Andy such a likeable character.
He's an alpha, a secondary gender known for being good at everything, I'm sure he has his own insecurities about that, it's bleeds through the narrative. So I believe his current struggles are just merely part of his character development, the director especially is slowly but surely warming up to him as we've seen in the previous chps. He really just has a favourite, which is the ml but that's based on his acting prowess not nepotism or whatever, so I can't fault with the director for that. It's natural if you think about it. I really like how the author doesn't hold our hands, needing to spell out everything what unfolds, everything is very realistic and I can't kudos the author enough XDDDD
Ayoo sorry for all this yap
so true, the author is so good at conveying moods and emotions through situations. its apparent in all their works. really though its so awesome to see Andy being chill and smooth despite him realizing his own deficiencies as compared to his coworkers. but he is really putting his back into it too! you can see how passionate he is about acting. love that. i absolutely enjoy reading the story with him as the protagonist. can't wait to see more of him!

Idk but I kinda feel bad for mc like I feel like he’s kinda being ignored by everyone and the director doesn’t seem to like him that much ( ̄∇ ̄")
