i’m only on ch 58, just passed the whole john-skyle arc. i’m gonna be honest, i don’t really gaf about john or about michael. the whole “respect is blah blah blah” homie you’re telling me you saw how nasty and greedy and horrible john was and you still respect him? he’s disgusting and used poison on a child to get what he wanted but what? oh the 18 yrs he spent with you still meant something so you can just dismiss all the bad? like wdym your respect never once wavered? i’m glad john died and i don’t really care if you’re devastated nor do i care that john had a soft spot for michael because he was his family. last time i checked, respectable people don’t use poison to manipulate children to kill for them ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ fuck that old ass wrinkly bitch and fuck you too michael you useless piece of shit with no morals

I understand why you hate John and how stupid he was, and poisoning a child is something I could never defend. But I also think you are being too hard on Michael. He grew up with John and he saved his life. To him John was the one who raised him, taught him, fed him, and became the closest thing he had to a father. When you’re raised by someone your entire life, that shapes the way you see the world. It’s not easy to suddenly stop loving or respecting someone just because you learn how messed up they are. I also don’t think John was born evil. Greed and desperation changed him over time. That doesn’t excuse his actions at all, but it helps explain why he became the person he did. From what I understood, John genuinely cared about Michael. That’s why he kept lying about wanting to get rid of him but truth is he actually wanted to keep Michael away from the dirty work and protect him in his own twisted way. You can acknowledge that John loved Michael while also admitting that he became a terrible person. Both things can be true. And Michael’s conflicted feelings make sense because he wasn’t looking at John as just a criminal yk? he was looking at the man who raised him and as a father figure who was now the only thing he had close to a family now dying… ╥﹏╥
