oh thats NOT the plot... you really have to wait for the details to unfold... anyway calling him a straight is a stretch because from the very beginning hes not (you can see the jealousy). and there is a reason for him being homophobic/not open minded, the guy was raised in a catholic family.
id dip like the mc too, if the memories are gone and my same sex partner is suddenly straight and slightly homophobic, it'd be cruel for me to still have to look out for them like their my lover while they are grossed out by even the idea of that? if i was the only one in their life they could depend on then i'd stay out of obligation but if i had the choice, i'd choose my mental health.
