Felt my heart drop for a moment after that news scene. I literally had to get up. Though, the fact that they have to struggle even after living through such a nightmare together was honestly sad (like the house wall texture was screaming to me; they only deserve the best). But apart from my childish rants cuz I truly feel attached to the characters—and I honestly feel bad for what they went through—the ending made absolutely perfect sense to me. I doubt riches and honor even matter to them. Heck, Lee Garam would be happy if you threw crumbs his way, and Eden said it himself that his feelings for Garam were intense enough to melt all his rage away so I’d like to think it’s all good.
Long rant, I know, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS. An epilogue or side story would have been nice though. My only complaint is that it was too short T^T
