Yh rue joined the leshas but honestly they are not really used as concubines. The leshas are where they usually choose human sacrifices from as they are true servants that serve in the afterlife and they usually choose those most loved by amon and nain. Nain loves and treasures lu so the fact that he became a lesha means he is now much more likely to die as a sacrifice. Lu also knows than nain struggles with death so the fact he did that was a big betrayal and hurt to nain.
Also i think from this point on nain and Gwen's relationship progress a lot cause he has just been hurt by lu so he seeks comfort in gwen
