I want to cry

This story manages to stir emotions within me anytime I read a chapter, it's very clear how much thought went into creating such an amazing masterpiece. I don't comment under stories often, but THIS, this makes me do it without a second thought.

I feel so much for both of them, while yes, heejae is very toxic and stuck in he past, it's the way he's written that makes him feel so real compared to other stories. Sometimes he scares me, the fact that he reminds me of a person as complex as my mum just makes me feel so suffocated, but it's the type of feeling that is, somewhat satisfying to get? I can't hate someone from the real life as much as I try to, but because he's a character as realistic as actual humans, I think I'm able to feel so much about him, hatred and pain and disgust, all while still having a sense of understanding of him and seeing what made him what he is. I can empathize with him while still condemning his wrongdoings.

And don't get me started on garam, he reminds me so much of myself, someone who seeks connection and affection in a relationship structured so badly. He realized the person he's dealing with is hindering his emotional growth, someone who in a way, is sucking the life out of him, but he just can't step away, it's life a moth mesmerized by the fire, he'll keep trying to get closer and closer until it's over (thus if he doesn't fix the shape of their relationship of course.).
