I was warned ending would be rushed but

Okay I haven’t read the novel but from just the last few chapters what I BELIEVE happened:

From my understanding there’s our MC and his doppelgänger. MC is actually originally from the game world but got switched with his doppelgänger in their childhood and was living in the real world while his doppelgänger went to the game world. They got swapped back to their original worlds (see doppelgänger going to the interview and meeting the real world’s Jehee, I assume this event happened simultaneously when our MC just woke up in the game world too).

When MC used his skill and ‘died’, he followed the watch given by Jehee to return not only to his world (aka the game world) but also to the timeline where HIS Jehee would be there. MC doesn’t remember Jehee because Jehee regressed after his sacrifice.

+ Also it looks like Jehee regressed back to the moment where our MC first woke up in the ‘game’ world aka the beginning of this story. So it’s a circular narrative where the end of a story loops directly back to its beginning which I think is pretty neat.

I imagine the novel was probably way better in the pacing of this. I’m upset at how some manhwas get rushed these days orz
