Pink haired dude is a mage from the labyrinth, he used to live on planet earth, but was reincarnated into this world. Growing up he saw the destruction dragons caused (Sha Amon is a dragon who only cares about his mate, Sha Nyne). He was researching about dragon mates, and ways to kill a dragons (by using the mates blood) when he stumbled across Sha Nyne and became a Lesha to get closer to him.
A lot happens:
Gwen and Nyne grow closer and fall in love, having a secret relationship behind Amons back, Gwen has this teleportation magic thing where he has a hidden room him and Nyne can espace to.
Nyne is slowly recovering all his memories (he’s actually 500 years old but most of his memories have been blocked, and he was asleep for a lot of it as well.) but due to the amount of suffering he went through he is slowly going insane.
We discover Nyne is no longer human, he was killed by radical followers of Amon years ago, but Amon made him his mate, ate him, and recreated him. This means whenever his mind is too unstable he can “disappear” and die like other monsters, a way to prevent this is to eat the mana crystals. (He also doesn’t need to eat, breath, sleep, etc, and won’t die by normal causes or injuries.) This is the reason Amon keeps erasing his memories, so that Nyne won’t kill himself.
As Nyne slowly realizes what’s going on, he decides to change the way everything works, he starts putting other families in power, saving people, and trying to get closer to Amon to stop all the blood shed. (Amon wants him to get used to bloodshed and death because otherwise he gets too depressed and dies.)
Amon finds everything out, tries to kill Gwen, Lu gets hurt in the process trying to save him but survives. Gwen, Nyne, Lu, and Liu (the battle priest) all escape thanks to Gwen’s magic and learn the truth about Dragons and Gwen’s plan to kill Amon.
All four of them go to the labyrinth to hide from Amon while Gwen prepares for battle, fluff and filler happen.
Amon finds Gwen and both get very close to death, Nyne seeing this goes insane and almost disappears completely. Seeing this Amon decided Gwen can live and stay with Nyne, but Amon will not be leaving.
Nyne goes into kinda of like a spiritual form, his body is gone and his mind is barely there, he’s invisible and hard to sense. Slowly through the help of Gwen he regains his will to live.
Blah blah blah a lot more happens but that’s the gist of it.
Gwen and Amon are both end game, and they both hate each other, but if one were to die so would Nyne.
Also Lu becomes a labyrinth mage.
LOTS of cats towards the end.

Sorry for the long paragraph, I’m not the best at summarizing. This adaptation is still very early in the novel (around chapter 60-70) out of the 200 chapters it has. There are side stories but I included that in the summary as well, the end isn’t very complete without it in my opinion.

There is another bl that is set in this universe that is completed, it’s called “I Can See Your Stats!” Here on Mangago with 73(?) chapters. Can be read separately and helps explain the labyrinth, how dragons and mate works, as well as other factors. Hope this helped.
