I've only read until ch20. But more like the opposite. The alpha won't sleep with anyone at all, even his own partner. Imagine the opposite of a situationship. They've had the boyfriend label for years but the alpha isn't willing to do anything and the beta just goes along with it. They're also not willing to communicate about anything.
