tbh authors will never make me see commoners as villains when the whole purpose of them being “evil” is because of money. like we have these main characters spending money like it’s drinking water but the minute a poor commoner maid covets something, she’s “out of line” and a “thief” and must be punished. as if these nobles aren’t rich because of blood money and exploitation. this isn’t relevant to only this manhwa, i actually really love anais but i just find it funny how we’re supposed to view the maid as like a semi-mini-villain when she’s literally a young girl in debt who will work for the rest of her life to survive.
