Tbf to MC, I like that he's really adamant he doesn't want anything to do with the ML. More often than not the MC is a spineless wimp that doesn't know how to say no. Like, why would you still want to get involved with a bastard who just had a one night stand with you in the past and might take away your son? I get him. Meanwhile if only ML be more straightforward and say he wants to genuinely pursue MC, then this will all get better. But because he's an egoist he won't do it until the very end lol
