I forgot why and skimmed thru it and remembered: Satoi was a emotionally manipulative pos! it's been years and the comments supporting him are so baffling saying Satoi deserves better but does he tho? in ch 9 hes upset and annoyed at Soutarou so he sexually assaults him theres no defending him after that.
sure, soutarou can be frustrating and miscommunication is annoying but there's no excuse for all Satoi did. what's worse was that Soutarou was afraid of facing Satoi with his worries and he was right to be! instead of being a tiny bit reassuring, Satoi belittles and mocks Soutarou and SAs him. Ofc Satoi feels justified with his actions gross and Soutarou blames himself for what happened, yikes.
Then the next morning Soutarou is motivated to be more straightforward and "confident." smdh the life lesson/character development in this is so gd backwards. you can't shame, guilt, and scare someone to have self respect and self confidence. and I know if Soutarou really had he woulved knee'd Satoi in the groin right there and dumped his ass!
