I genuinely think teach subconsciously doesn't care abt the towns people bc he knows life without guwon in the town will bring incredible hardships and "living with dignity" will just lead them all to death. Plus teach knows that guwon has a soft spot for him and doesn't care if teach is the one to kill him and guwon also most likely wont kill teach even in the rebellion. The most likely outcome is if the rebellion happens, guwon being guwon would prob wipe all the rebels out (or maybe the hounds help if they arrive on time) and he'll obvi keep teach anyways so honestly this whole rebellion plan with the knowledge teach has makes me think he genuinely doesn't care abt the towns people, even though he says its for them. Plus im still unsure about the situation with teach's dad. Like im so sure there is something deeper there because every time teach tries to remember a memory on the day his dad died his heads all fuzzy. There's a possibility that teach was the one who killed his dad, or maybe guwon did but teach didn't care? Im not sure but i think that has got to do with why guwon thinks teach is special and has been obsessed w him tjis whole time. But then there is also the title including Sisyphus, so that adds another layer... i love this story sm because it genuinely makes me think and i love reading theories from everyone else!!
