and oh my heavens, you all SHOULD read the fanfic mentioned in 29.5 named "Danger Zone". It is gorgeous, imaculate writing style with delicious sexy time and equally scrumptious character depth exploration. It's about what Sharpe and Rabbit are and what they bring out in one another. Definitely an interesting one (much like the canon itself) that perfectly camouflages into the storyline without drifting too far from it. Aesome fanfic for sure.

I'm in AWE of how well-written and masterfully executed a story can be despite how fucked up it is. The themes it revolved around and issues it addressed. It was all presented with such care! The authors are seasoned as hell fpr making this. This is totally re-read worthy I'm so coming back to this in a few years. I'm seriously very happy with how this progressed over the chapters and even more so with how it concluded. This is immaculate writing at its finest. Lovely.

im only 28 chapters in but im already in tears. the way mr. sharpe (or should i say artimey?) talks...holds so many life lessons and philosophical stuff...even i relate to it. and my boy aj was dealt some really bad cards in life...i feel for him. i cannot emphasize enough how well written this story is. the emotions, the sentiment in every scene of the story is so tangible you can't help loving the characters. this already feels like a masterpiece to me. wow wow wow
