I did not slog through almost a 100 chapters of a manipulative, rapey, gaslighting, insensitive, arrogant, misogynistic, only-cares-about-sex, belitting CUNT for the payoff to be barely 10 chapters long. For all this man did, he should be on his knees, crying, begging, pleading, offering to kill himself for this poor girl's sake. WORST regret story i've read in fucking ages, this bitch barrreeely regrets or repents and when he does it's so fucking unsatisfying. Genuinely this guy could voluntarily ask to get whipped 50 times with a barbed whip and it STILL wouldn't be enough. Can't believe i wasted so much time waiting for a payoff that was never going to fufill genuine CHAPTERS ON CHAPTERS of judt straight up abuse. At some point you literally hope this girl dies so she can find peace. *SPOILER* When I saw she was in a train crash, genuinely hoped she had died on impact so she could finally be at peace. This shit cannot be worth it, EVER. So much better trashy ML regret stories out ther like I wish you were dead or What it means to be you, where male leads spend more chapters regretting than actually doing bad shit to the FL. Just save yourself the fucking pain. Never trusting a goddamn reddit recommendation ever again jesus christ

100% this, even as angst/regret/chasing enjoyer, I can't stand with this one. The fault to regret ratio is ass, he barely repents anything, while being a vile man and husband most of the time. I'll add my beloved opressor to your recommendations, but stay away from this one

No EXACTLY. Proper regret/angst/yearning needs a perfect balance otherwise it's just pain without any prize at the end. Beloved Opressor though not my favorite also balanced the two aspects well! Definitely a good recommendation
