I just realised that what we've been reading the whole time is the novel Haejin wrote "Best Left Unwritten". The story is mostly told between Haejin and Sunwoo's pov and too many inner monologues bcs this is their diary and we're the readers.
Sunwoo realized his love for written words in his own way and that is through Haejin and supporting his endeavours as a writer.
True to the title some words are best left unwritten just like their love story going forward and why it felt like some scenes feels like there's missing bcs you're craving for more details that's the whole point it's what this story wants to convey.
I really like this it's consistent from start to finish
