Because she's actually just a Korean girl who got taken into a game set in ancient Egypt. So I believe she kept her original appearance, while the characters native to that world look like they're actually from that region

the art is beautiful and i’m so happy the men aren’t gray! i’m kinda sad that the fmc is as pale as paper though despite everyone else having darker skin. like come on…this is supposed to be an alternate universe that’s similar to egypt but homegirl is as white as a ghost? i get it, koreans and their colorism.
