The ML chose to be hated again when he had other options??

Mmm my guess is rage is the easiest emotion to provoke from someone.

And ml seems to need strong emotions to be directed at him to keep his "power."

But I think the bigger factor is that the mc also has some special abilities and in his past life they were awakened by being enraged by something. So thats the most concrete way to get him to awaken his abilities.

Im not sure why the ml needs nor want the mc abilities to be awakens so badly he'd make the mc hate him again even those it seems to pain him.

Maybe it ties back to fueling the mls power?

That’s given me a whole new perspective and more understanding about it but honestly I find myself wondering just how much the MC hated him in their past life and what the ML had already done there that wasn't enough compared to the shii he did now in the new life and the crap he he keeps going to pull next

Same me too I won't have any sympathy for the ML either even when he cried I didn’t feel sad for him I mean it's his own fault and I have no understanding of the reasons behind his actions toward the MCs new life
