Am I the only one who actually loves the realistic ending. That Illic doesn’t actually love Sayan. I’m so tired of stories where the kidnapped uke falls hard for their abusive perpetrator. This manhwa is a breath of fresh air from that trope. And I can’t help but love how Illic is strong enough to not bend into that feeling but still resign to Sayan’s power to some extent because he’s smart enough to realize that it will save him from suffering more without losing his sanity in the process.
Yes yes. I love this realistic ending too. I have seen so many webtoons with blushing ukes falling for their abuser and just feeling disappointed for their lack of self respect.
