You know, liking Mitsuki as a character is one thing. But defending toxic behaviour as "just being young" or "first relationship problems" (mind you they're probably in their 20s rn) is so lame. Especially with Aki present, Mitsuki SHOULD be the responsible adult and try to understand him more. Being insecure and having trouble fitting in as a kid should never be an excuse to hurt others, especially the person you love. In one chapter, Mitsuki says she wishes she could go back in time, why? When she has been presented with multiple opportunities to fix the present? It's like Mitsuki is fighting completely made up problems that can be solved with talking. It feels like all the high school chapters were for nothing, that she did not learn anything, despite her character development. Also, when will we learn anything about Aya? Other than those few chapters about Aya's anxiety regarding college entrance exams, we don't get her perspective at all. The story is just laser focused on Mitsuki, as if it didn't start out as Aya being a protagonist.
