I really like how this story depicts regression and trauma, even if it’s coming from the male lead’s perspective. and I wish more regression stories would include the trauma that comes with having to relive a past where you and the people you love would have to face tragedy in the future. sure a bunch of stories feature the main character becoming stronger after coming back to the past, but there’s no way regressing multiple times/regressing in general wouldn’t have you paranoid and overall kinda fucked up. I think this and “resetting lady” does it pretty well, even if resetting lady is a lot more unhinged
