So,are there any similarities between Yasaka and Shima?

After Misumi's question in the last panel,it is something to think about.I haven't read this in timee so I'm relying on my memories.

Anyways,I think Shima just leans too much into the 'nice guy' schick, trying to please everyone and 'do favours' for them, even when unprompted. An example of this is when he decided to join Mika's group in class (I think it was a school trip or something?I dunno. It wasn't so long after she confessed I think) and Mika got annoyed. At first I didn't understand, wouldn't you want to be with your crush? But then I realised how mean that really is.Why deliberately hang out with someone who has a crush on you but you don't feel the same way?Shima probably did this to 'do Mika a favour',classic leading on.I don't think it was done with bad intentions though, just wanting to satisfy Mika's desires half-heartedly due to assumptions...

Yasaka is similar but the leading on is also due to wanting attention, she's more brazen about it and is self aware of the damage being done.Well, reading this book showed me that profiling someone as one-dimensional,either a victim or perpetrator,is inaccurate and harmful-I remember thinking Mika would be your average shoujou love rival-and so I'll give Yasaka some time to grow. It'd be nice to explore the parallels between her and Shima.
