Aghhhhhh not a opennnn ended endinggggg. Great work by the author, but I really hoped it would end as the first scenario. The second one is realistic sure, but god so painful. I really felt like being left on a cliffhanger, and wonder how his friends would react to the devastating news. A good heartbreaking read for sure though.
